Eduard Erlikh

I’m redecorating my room and looking for überchic art for my wall I found the most amazing artist. Eduard Erlikh does the most gorgeous fashion watercolors by layering up to 20 coats of watercolor paint and the result is stunning. He’s a Russian-born New Yorker and his work has appeared in Vogue and Elle, as well as on Tiffany & Co. posters; among others. Here some of his graceful interpretations of the Couture shows and two lovely Balenciaga Spring 2007 sketches. To see more visit his web page. Enjoy!

Por cierto, le cambie el nombre a mi blog. Ahora se llama The Celluloid Dream. Para que le cambies el nombre a tu link. La dirección es la misma, solo cambio el nombre.

These are so great, esp love the balenciaga spring ones.

Don't you think the silhouette is rather Audrey Hepburn like?

Also, the sketch of Sasha at Chanel looks a little like Irina Kulikova..

Hi!
Were you able to find his prints? On his site, when I tried to e-mail about some of the prints, I got a bounce back... just curious if you were able to get these beautiful pieces and if there is anywhere else I can purchase some?
THX!!!

Erlikh is priceless. Reminds me of Gruau, but genius on his own right nevertheless.
