Look Of The Week: Dior Resort

Like in last year's Dior Resort Collection, this season John Galliano's muse prefers to spend the hot summer months in breezy fabrics, colorful prints and a 60's inspired silhouette. Unlike last year, the Dior woman has decided to ad a little south of the border flavor with contrasting shades, statement jewelry and even sombreros in bright hues. A look that is fiesta ready.

Wow... really diggin the Dior eyebrows. I don't know much about fashion, but whenever I flip through my sister's fashion magazines and see resort clothes (Michael Kors, Nautica...) it always looks awesome because it gives me the impression of hot summer beaches....and yachts!

what's not to love about a 60's silhouette! it's perfect for lazying around the pool popping diet pills and drinking champagne!

I appreciate the work, the designs and so on. But I'm not into Dior. There's too much going on for me.
However, you make it sound so appealing! :)

The collection is too similar to the latest one, I mean, he doesn't think really a lot about it. I am so tired of cruise-only-business-collections!

that collection is nice, but a bit too polished and bright for my liking! i'm in too much of student mode, loving grungier things at the moment. love your little mood board things though!

I loved it too, and the chanel is pretty great too. Im suprised the high street is already picking up on it- there is a silky ruffle skirt in primark that i want.
And Gwenyth Paltrow was wearing Chanel Resort recently. :) x

I usu. love anything John Galliano does, and I usu. love Cruise lines, but I was kinda disappointed. There's so much volume in the pieces that you can't really see a woman's curves beneath the clothes.

Great blog, though!
