Look of the Week: Cozy Knits

The days are getting shorter and colder so it’s only natural that you want to be comfortable and warm but of course stay chic. So inspired by the great fingerless gloves I got from my mother and some of the softest pieces in the fall collections, this Look of the Week is all about cozy knits. The key colors are black, red, grey and ivory. This snug crochet pieces go perfectly with warm fires, a good book and a delicious hot caramel macchiato.

Yes, Stella you genius!

Fancy making knits so sexy!

While I liked the Chanel jumpers at first, I'm now really not keen. I think the Freja ads in the magazine put me off, which funnily enough, I don't think is what they're meant to do!

Stella Mccartney makes the most incredible sweaters. Seriously, when I win the lottery and become a squilionaire, I will buy a bunch of those. Until then, I will satisfy myself with J. Crew. ;-)

makes me feel like popping a dvd of a fireplace into the television in my dorm room and sipping hot chocolate. Or of course walking a runway, its great that comfort can be chic.

I was so looking forward to those cheesy Christmas jumpers coming out onto the high street, I wanted one to wear on Christmas day! I tried one on, intending to look ironically childlike and silly, but I just ended up looking childlike and silly without the irony. *Sighs* Some things just weren't meant to be.
