Carolina Herrera presented her Resort collection and like a late summer party it was filled with delightful little details and unexpected elements. It was very colorful, not middle-of-July hot colors but more in an afternoon tea party in August way. There were a lot of prints balanced by the simplest black or white sandals and pretty dresses. But the clear stand out were the violet-prints that adorned the last pieces, they were delightfully summer.

Aha! Knew that the 50s would come in. I was predicting by next summer, but looks like it'll be sooner. Good thing, too - 50s was the glamour era, and what could be better.
